A Cookie for Breakfast!

Feeling great and ready tackle this beautiful Thursday!!!! Thank you all for the sweet comments about getting better, they really helped. After class last night I came home and cleaned a little before I ate dinner, and didn’t start eating till almost 10pm!!!! So I just went with a boring bowl of cereal. I know that this would not be enough fuel for me but it was EASY and I was pooped. I ended up getting up in the middle of the night STARVING, will not do that again.

I mixed a little Kashi GoLean and some Granola. Topped off with 1/2 sliced nanner, and some PB!

Ok the bag that was posted last night that said "chocolate covered candy cane" was the coffee I purchased at the local coffee chop...lol...and it was wonderful. I will be buying coffee from them again! Last night I had decided to just sleep in today. I don't remember the last day I had a DAY OFF from exercise. I think it was LAST Wednesday so today will be that day, I am planning on walking a little on my break to get those points in for the HBBC,! My total points so far are 23.5.

Sense I had a little time on my hands this morning I baked up m version of the beautiful Fitnessistas breakfast cookie. I have been eyeing it for quite some time, and figured in honor of trying something NEW everyday this month I needed to try it.

Pumpkin Protein Pancakes

1/2 c oats
1/2 sliced banana
1/2 cup oats
1 egg
1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 tbs skim milk
dash of pumpkin spice
handful of flaxseed

Directions: Mix all ingredients together in a bowl, then spread like a large COOKIE in a frying pan or griddle. Heat for 3-5 minutes on each side, eat and ENJOY!

This was so EASY and so yummers! It's a lot like a protein pancake that I have made minus the cottage cheese. I added a little almond butter to add some sweetness! I will be making more variations soon!

Well it's CAMPING DAY as we say at my gym. It's ONE more day until FRIDAY! I don't know why we say camping day...lol... Tonight we are going to the Farmers Market to watch some friends sing carols and have coffee with them after, can't wait! I love the Farmers Market, I need some fresh produce hope they have a good selection.

I leave you with this:

MY MINI BOOTCAMP PART II

This is the plank, I know most of you know how to do this, but have you done it where you bring your knees down and up? Well try it, it might help you to do it longer! Let me know what you think?

I don't even like coffee, but if it's called chocolate covered candy cane coffee, I just might try it. :-P

oooh i hate being hungry at night b/c it's like UGH can't i just wait til breakfast. i've had to get up before and eat a banana, i find that's a good compromise. because i can't sleep if i'[m hungry and then the whole next day is ruined!!! (i'm really grumpy and low energy when i don't sleep enough).

enjoy your day!!!

Did you just decide to cook the breakfast cookie or is it supposed to be cooked? I thought you just let it sit overnight and ate in the morning. I think it looks a lot better cooked like that. I haven't made it yet, so I don't really know though.

The coffee beans are making me thirsty! And...you ARE lucky Bobbi - to still be able to go to a Farmer's market! All we'd get (if they were around) would be snow cones...next summer...

I've done that variation of the plank before... I prefer the good old fashioned plank! ;)
