So Much to Say
Happy Hump Day Friends!
Last night before Hubby and I headed off to another sports meeting I made a fun bowl of everything.
In the Thanksgiving Challenge spirit I looked through my fridge and put leftovers and more on top of a large bowl of Romaine.
- Ground turkey with McCormick Season
- Onions
- Olives
- Black Beans
- Mushrooms
- Tomatoes
- Oikos Yogurt
When I got home last night, I got another fun package!!! My Daddy wanted to thank me for the wonderful time he had with me last weekend so he gave me this amazing gift basket.
There were so many wonderful things in the basket, and they are all things that I LOVE! I can tell my Daddy reads my blog ;) Chocolate Peppermint Coffee, Dark chocolate, Cook Books, Yoga Books…
a cute coffee canister that I adore!
I love this candle holder, it so precious!
Two new square plates :)
THANKS DADDY, you so know that one of my love languages is gifts :).
This morning I woke up at 4:30am to go for a run at 5am with my running buddies. I had planned on running only 6 miles, but we ended up running 8! I kept thinking to myself POTM Challenge !
When I got home I was freezing and starving. I decided to make a warm comforting bowl of Cran Apple Oats.
I made a basic bowl of Pumpkin Oats and added in nuked cinnamon apples, cranberry sauce, 1/4 Cranberry Lemon Honest Food bar, and a dollop of Oikos Yogurt.
All mixed up!
Those 8 miles felt great, I just hope I stay awake and un-sore for my kickboxing class tonight!
Question: Is receiving gifts one of you love languages?
DONT FORGET ABOUT MY SPA GIVEAWAY!

Aww, what a sweet care package from your dad!
yes, gifts are definitely an expression of love, especially when they are so personalized and come from the heart! one of my fave gifts to give (and get!) is a mixed CD of meaningful songs, or a handpainted picture frame! your dad seems like a great guy....and a great gift-giver as well!!!
aw, what a sweet package!
great job on the run this morning!
Wow daddy knows you well! Cute candleholder, aren't unexpected gifts fun?
I prefer giving to receiving! Receiving can be awkward, but giving just gives you a more long lasting happy feeling ALTHOUGH I don't say no to gifts!
what a great package from dad!!!
wish i could get out for a run this morning like you!
and those oats look awesome, i need to pick up some cranberries!

I love your gift package, that looks really fun and reminded me I want some of that peppermint chocolate :)
That is an awesome gift from your dad. I do think that gifts are one of my love languages. But I think the gifts that people really took the time get something for ME. When I get people gifts, I love figuring that would suit that person just so perfectly. :-)
