Time to Start Training

Here is my “penciled” in marathon schedule for the next three weeks until cross-country season is over. I have to run with the team for 3-4 runs of the week, but I will be doing some 2 a days here and there when I need to get more mileage in. As you can see I like to only run between 25-30 miles a week, it works for me.

I do one easy run, one track workout, one tempo run(or hills), and one long run. On Mondays/Weds/Fridays I will be doing some kind of strengthening as well. Either kickboxing or Jillian's 30 day Shred. I am excited to be in training mode AGAIN!

I so desperately wanted to get up early and do some Shred, but I keep turning my ALARM OFF!!! Why OH why, do I keep doing this?! I don’t know you my BF Danielle get’s out of the house at 6:30am for work every day!

For Breakfast I made a quick and easy egg burrito and watched NERD KERF GMAIL, love organization!

Ok folks you asked about the cold weather here, and it’s only in the 50’s in the morning, but for this Southern California girl that is COLD! Where I work it is even colder, I have to bust out my boots and my sweaters :). I love FALL clothes, layering is my favorite?

Question: What season of clothing is your favorite?

that breakfast burrito looks great!

I love fall clothing the best, too. Lots of layering, comfy sweaters, fun colors.

I'm definitely a Fall girl. I like jeans, long sleeved tops and some scarves if I could figure out how to wear them ;-)

I am a fall person. I can dress to stay warm, but I don't usually need a jacket.

Definitely fall. Some days are cooler, others are hotter.. There's a bit of everything. Besides, there's more to play with in terms of clothes. Boots! Scarves! Jackets! :p

Hahaha! Everyone stole my answer! I love fall, too! Actually, I like winter, too! I have so many more cute warm clothes than summer clothes! :)
Looks like a solid training plan, you are gonna do awesome! :)

I was just walking home from class today feeling sad how warm weather is ending. There's nothing I love more than wearing shorts & short sleeves and feeling the warmth!

With all due respects & don't take this the wrong way but the obvious asks; With your alarm clock dilemas, don't you have a husband to help wake you (when he is around?)

Have noticed you blog in "singular" terms or you keep so busy & away from home, away from family. I often wonder why people have dogs when they're hardly ever home.

No judgment meant here. Just sharing an observation with those who enjoy your blogs but are not aware of your family life.

With regard to seasons; I'm more of Spring girl. Still crisp & cool, leaves turning back to its color but ready for the forthcoming summer. My small family doesn't do a big yahoo production for the holidays anyway.

I love summer dresses, but I am actually excited about wearing some of my new sweaters and boots this fall/winter.

Definitely Fall weather!
You get the best of both worlds....there are still t-shirt days, but later in the afternoon you can cozy up in a nice sweater!

Your training plan looks a lot like mine. Cool.

My favorite clothing season is definitely fall. I'm all about layering and it's still nice enough out some days that you can slip in a t-shirt or tank top. That's the best.

It's nice to see someone else who trains for marathons on 30-ish miles a week. I find that so many people are pushing the 40-50+ miles a week. Any time I've tried that, I end up getting hurt. I like to plan for 25-35 miles a week, with lots of biking and core work thrown in.
