Pumpkin Patch Tradition
Hubby wanted to show you all the inside of a yellow tomato.
As soon as we got home from Church I made a “EVERYTHING BUT THE KITCHEN SINK” Raw Salad. I chopped up a ton of veggies and fruit and came up with….
- spinach + romaine
- jicama ( love this stuff)
- chopped apple
- 1/2 yellow tomato
- handful of nuts
I then blended up an avocado, lime, pepper, cilantro and EVOO in the Vita-Mix an attempt to try and make a cilantro avocado dressing. It came out a little thicker then I would have..looks like a GM on my salad…LOL
Non the less it was AMAZING!!!!
After lunch Hubby and I headed over to the Pumpkin Patch to get ourselves a pumpkin to carve, a McCormick Family tradition.
So many choices!
Hubby and I decided on this one!!

I also got a little one for decor.
They had a lot of other things to choose from too, Gourds GALORE!
They also had some free recipes to choose from, I plan on making the pumpkin butter recipe that's in there.
What a fun day already!! I feel like this has been such a productive yet FUN weekend, and it’s not over yet. I am off to teach kickboxing tonight and then stay tuned for dinner..
Do you guys have a pumpkin patch in your town? Any fall traditions in your house?
