Let the Stay-CATION begin!

What a fun FRIDAY! Filled with yummy eats, presents, and friends! I shall keep this post short, and sweet. It’s almost 11pm, and I would love to get things all set up for our first day of stay-cation!!!

AN EARLY SURPRISE FROM HUBBY

He knows I hate roses, but I love me some tulips,I was not expecting this AT ALL!!!!

Tulips+Teddy Bear and Chocolates, how sweet is he:)

My work surprised us at school with a little V-DAY pie table after lunch,  I couldn’t resist.

I had a small piece of the boysenberry pie, with a cup of tea in my new mug one of my students gave me.

For lunch I enjoyed another delicious salad I made from home: baby spinach, Romaine lettuce, tofu, apple slice, pineapple, nature’s path granola, strawberries, and low-fat poppy seed dressing. I am loving granola on my salads!

I didn’t snack much today, just had a pear before dinner and then made an award winning STIRFRY. THANK YOU FELLOW BLOGGERS!!! Everyone was so kind to help me with ideas, and I  still have more ideas for the weekend.

I chopped up carrots, onion, fresh spinach, mushrooms, celery, snap peas, tofu, bellpeppers, and threw it in the WOK. Only the second time ever using the WOK. I put about 2 tbs peanut oil, chicken broth, and some light soy sauce to fry it up in. I poured it on top of a cup and a half of whole wheat pasta noodles, I only ate half of the batch, it made a lot!!!!

I also received two more wonderful packages today.

#1. My Blogger Secret Valentine Gift from Christie at What I Ate Yesterday

She sent me some yummy Numi Flowering Tea, Agave Honey, and she even made me some EARINGS!!!! How sweet is she, thanks CHRISTIE!!!!

I am so excited about tomorrow, hubby and I are having and ALL DAY VALENTINES PAJAMA PARTY. We never sleep in, and we never eat breakfast together, so that is the first thing on the agenda and after that we plan on having a DVR MARATHON! The plan is to have NO REAL PLANS! We never get to just lounge, so our first day of stay-cation will be a complete day of R&R. Sunday will be a lot different, this stay-cation calls for no blogging, so I won’t post until Monday folks.

Have a beautiful Valentines weekend!!! I leave you with this video, that show’s TRUE UNFAILING LOVE!

I love just cuddling up and being home with D, it's so nice not to have other things to do. Ok I wouldn't love every day to be that way, but I love the ones we make be that way!
