Just Call Me Martha
WARNING THE FOLLOWING PICTURES ARE GOING TO MAKE YOU HUNGRY, PLEASE READ ON A FULL STOMACH!
Helllllllo beautiful people in my life! I have been one busy bunny around these parts. I started baking right after lunch and didn’t get done until 7:30pm. Needless to say I felt like a true baker, I don’t know how Angela does it.
I multi tasked….no make up today :)
Tried hard not to taste too much… ya that was HARD!
I would love to say I have some great healthy recipes for you all, but I went with a few classics from an old Nestle Cook Book I have on hand ( in no way are these healthy).
These are some of the best cookies I have ever made!
I made these simple Peanut Butter Cookies with a kiss on top, basic but cute.
Bosco was my taste tester, he love everything!
Chop Chop
The work station
Sugar Cookies
Peppermint Bark
I received some Amish Friendship Bread from a friend at the gym and today was the day that I was able to make it!!! It couldn’t have come at a more perfect time.
I made two loafs, one for the Hubby and I and the other I will be giving to a friend;)
Here are most of the goodies that are in each package(I still have one more bar to add).
Peppermint Bark
All wrapped up! I am giving these to neighbors, friends and all of my family. I hope they love them.
WOW!
Because I didn’t get done baking till late Hubby was so sweet to get us Chinese take-out!!!!! I would have loved to make a fine and creative dinner, but I had no more energy.
I enjoyed my meal with a glass of White Wine that we got from my Grandparents last year from Fresno.
I ordered the Garlic Shrimp with added tofu on top of my own brown sticky rice. I had this portion times two! I also had a piece of the Amish Bread, holy amazing!
While enjoying dinner Hubby and I watched the finale of “Sing Off” it was ok. I am not a fan of Nick Lachay who was the host, he was annoying!!! But I love Ben Folds he is one talented musician!
Overall it was a great day, I only have a few more things to get crossed off my to-do list and then I can just sit back and relax for the rest of the week!!! Tomorrow morning I am going for an easy 3 mile run with Mr. Rick and Fast Jill this will be my first time running with them since my marathon!!!! Can’t wait to catch up.
Good night loves!

OMG you were a baking woman tonight!!!
I don't think there is such a thing as a healthy Christmas cookie. It's just not sensible and why would you ever even want to attempt such a thing? :)
