Guest Post from Monica (Run,Eat,Repeat)
Hello nHerShoes Readers – This is Monica from Run,Eat,Repeat. I am a runner, eater and blogger from Southern California, currently living in Maryland!
I started my blog to document my runs and eats. I have been running for about 5 years, but I’ve been eating for over 20! Ha.
The hot summer weather doesn’t stop me from wanting to enjoy yummy “baked” goodies, but I don’t want to warm up my house by turning on the oven. So, I have 2 no-bake recipes for cookies…
This first recipe was going around the food blogs over a year ago, so I can’t give it credit since it comes in many forms…
1/2 c oats
1/2 c raw almond butter
1/3 c agave nectar OR maple syrup
1/4 c cocoa powder
1. Mix all the ingredients together.
2. Form into cookies.
3. Refrigerate for a few hours.
These cookies are named after my little brother since we made them together. They are based off a recipe I found in a super old cookbook – Good For You Cookies! By Jane Marsh Dieckmann
1 cup powdered milk
1/2 maple syrup
1/2 any fiber Cereal slightly crumbled
1. Mix powdered milk, PB and maple syrup.
2. Mix in the cereal and form the mixture into balls.
3. Let chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Thanks to Bobbi for sharing my sweet treats! Run,Eat,Repeat
