First Day of Peace

This week is PEACE WEEK here at NHerShoes, time for serenity!

“Happiness resides not in possessions and not in gold; the feeling of happiness dwells in the soul.”- Democritus

Happy Monday :)!

This morning I decided to make a wonderful bowl of oats, OH how I have missed me some old fashion oatmeal.

I threw in some blueberries, nanner, Zoe’s Granola, and a spoonful of PB. It all tasted heavenly!

Thank you friends for all the advice about becoming a Vegan, I am going to check out some books from the library and read into it more.

Time to find a little quiet time before I head out to work!

Hubby’s Random Fact: The eight most popular foods to cause food allergies are: milk, eggs, wheat, peanuts, soy, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish.

I love starting my day with meditation.
It has taken me a while to work up to being STILL for 10 minutes---but Im in such a better mindset for my day when I do.

Hubby's list of possible allergy foods is interesting...all things that are good for you. Why can't we have allergies to chips, soda, pizza and ice cream?! :)

Yay for rest day! I hope you enjoy and totally live up to your deadication of getting some well deserved relaxation this week.

Good luck on the vegan study. I am soooo close myself but I still haven't made the 100% commitment. You know, I think its totally fine if you consider yourself like 90% with the ocassional meat in-take in certain situations. That is pretty much how I live. I never choose to eat or make it, but if I am faced in a situation where my options are limited, I am able to still eat a little and feel okay.

You will definitely find what works for you!

Take care darling!
