Take Me Out to the Ball Game..

Happy Hump Day :) !! This is where I was last night….

Sorry about no post last night, I had a very late night. We didn’t get home from the baseball game until after midnight!!! The game was a lot of fun, it was 80’s night so they played a lot of movies and music that brought back some great childhood memories. Like; Goonies, The Breakfast Club, Family Vacation, and much more!

We stopped by Subway to grab dinner to take in( we manage to get it free because their ATM machine was broken!) . I got a foot long chicken and veggie sandwich, I saved half for lunch today :) I would have rather had a Dodger Dog and a Beer, but my stomach was glad that I didn’t.

My adorable date!

Our healthy snack of choice, we were tempted over and over by SWEETS but resisted!!!  Say two of no sweets was a success!!!

6

Ok, you know you are in the O.C. when there is water fall in center field!!!

After a bed time of 12:30am, I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it out for a run this morning. Some how I DID! I woke up at 5:15 and took off with my running group for a wonderful 5 mile run! We actually ran pretty fast and my body felt amazing!!! I am so glad I ran, because I knew I wouldn’t be able to run in the HEAT tonight.

Tonight Hubby and I are staying in, I have a lot of things to get caught up on before I leave for Colorado next week!

Off to make a Green Monster 2 GO!

See you tonight for one AMAZING DINNER!

Question: What’s your favorites 80’s movie???

Say Anything. Hands down. I wanted Lloyd to be my boyfriend! And that classic scene with the boombox and "In Your Eyes"? My heart still melts. :D

Either Ferris Bueller's Day Off or Can't Buy Me Love. I remember thinking Cindy Mancini was so beautiful and wanting a suede outfit like the one from the movie...of course I was like 10 and who would give a 10 year old suede? Yeah not my parents....

What a fun night! You and your hubby are too cute together :)

I've been with you on the no sweets and somehow doing very well with it, too!! I needed to detox from sugar... I was having two desserts a day... and not nearly any healthy choices, either!

Wow... I have a few 80's movies that I loved! But the two that I love the most are probably Overboard with Goldie Hawn and of course Pretty Woman (wait... that was an 80's movie, right? lol)

Wow, that's a really sweet stadium! (I had no idea it had a waterfall.)

I was pretty young in the 80's. Does "The Little Mermaid" count?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who sneaks in food to ball games. Smart thinking!

Looks like you had so much fun at the game! Thats a tough choice deciding which 80's movie is my fav??? I would have to say Pretty Women.

Say Anything. I had the poster of Lloyd holding up the boombox on my wall in college and I love the movie so much that now its posted on the inside of my college door.

Looks like a fun night! You guys are too cute!

Favorite movie of the 80's: Hands down, Top Gun. It's just so cheesy, yet awesome!

Wow you still got up for a run this morning?! I will have to remind myself of that when I wake up tomorrow morning and hit the snooze button. Great job! The game looked like too much fun :-) You and hubs are adorable. I probably watch Ferris Bueller's Day Off more than any other 80s movie so that will have to be my fav!

This brings back memories from our CA trip this past April. We went to see an Angels game and had a blast. We sat right behind Bobby Abreuz and I kept yelling hello to him. He eventually turned around and waved. So cool! ;)
