Test Results Are In!

Morning FRIENDS!!

I was actually pretty excited to get up this morning and tackle the day! I seriously love starting a fresh new week, I guess I just love new beginnings. I did a little yogadownload this morning, Detox Yoga and it felt great! I then did my sit-up challenge test, pushup challenge test, and squat test! Here are the results:

Pushups: 30
Sit-ups: 55
Squats: 75

Not to shabby, but I could use some work!

In the pushup challenge I will be doing column 3

In the sit-up challenge I will be doing column 3

In the squat challenge I will be doing column 3 as well.

It says for me to start at week three for most of these but I am just going to stick to week one. How were your initial tests?

After the tests I made myself a Green Monster! I think I will be having these all through the summer:) Today’s mix was actually perfect!

  • 1 c Almond Milk
  • 1/4 c fresh blueberries
  • 1 c mango
  • 1/2 c ice
  • 1 very ripe banana
  • 3 c spinach
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla why protein

I need to freeze my bananas I hear that makes them delicious! I have a fun smoothie recipe I will be trying tomorrow, you guys are going to love it!

I also managed to give myself a pedicure this morning, and wrote out my workout schedule for the week! Only one day of running for this girl!

I need to join you on this challenge...my husband would flip if I could do a vast quantity of pushups and pullups...he teases me about the fact that I am seemingly quite fit but can't do more than a single pullup to save my life!

Holy cow, Bobbi! You are so STRONG! I workout my core ALL the time and could only do 22 situps. Could I be doing them wrong??

Wow.. I couldn't feel worse about myself (ha!)
I posted my results on : www.rebornrunner.wordpress.com

I went to an extreme yogalates class, and ran a 5k and then stupidly took the test... I couldn't do ONE normal push up!! My arms felt like jello..... :(

Push-ups: 7 (I feel weak!)
Sit-ups: 37
Squats: 100

Cute toes! :-) I echo everyone out there about runners' feet. Mine look terrible! I'm embarrassed to wear flip-flops but I do it anyway!

My wrists are sore from something, but I did a pathetic SIX pushups this morning. Gah. Tomorrow will be better! at least 10 is what I'm shooting for.

I'm liking the sandal tan!! I go to a fitness class and we do a lot of squats. I love squats and lunges! You can really feel your whole leg working.

I did 30 push-ups too. And amazingly 80 sit-ups. Can't wait to work on the challenge!

I feel the same way about Mondays - it is a clean slate and anything can happen.
I seriously have to try these green monsters. Everyone is drinking them. I like how you serve yours in a wine glass - very classy!

Oh my gosh, you have the prettiest feet!

Your Green Monster looks so vibrant! I think I need to use more spinach because mine always come out looking brown, which is slightly unappetizing.

Way to go on the pushup challenge and squat test...um, I am WAY impressed! There is no way I could do 30 pushups!!

Rebeca said...

I'm a column three on situps and squats... I also didn't want to jump ahead, especially since it'd end up confusing me... since I'm such a column two on the pushups... what can I say they are and always have been my least favorite move lol.

How did you do yours? I did pushup, situp, squat and turned it into a semi-circuit workout because I was trying to be time efficient but I'm not sure if that was the best way to go.

Meganerd said...

Wow! I've never seen the other challenges, only the 100 pushups one! I think I'm going to do these, I need some gym-free strength training action.
