Quickie with the Hubby

I remember seeing this crazy combination on Melissa’s blog, and I finally got around to trying it today! Yes folks that’s orange slices and PB! WOW, I loved this snack! I can’t believe it took me so long to try it!!! This one is going down in the books!

1

I had 15 minutes to grab lunch before the talent show this evening. Hubby was in town so we met up quickly and had a quickie “Date Night” at Quiznos.

3

I never eat here so I wasn’t sure what to get, I decided on the veggie sandwich with lettuce, tomato, grilled mushrooms, onions, avocado, and honey mustard. It was actually quite tasty, I had a little of their BBQ sauce on the side for dipping. Hubby wanted a drink so we got the combo and I got some Garden Salsa Sun Chips, I had these in DC they are yummers( not exactly clean though)!

4

Hubby tried one of their new sandwiches the Toasty Torpedoes, isn't it funny looking?!

6

After the quick dinner I ran over to our school for the end of the year Talent Show! The kids did great, I was sooooo proud. Almost shed a tear once or twice, man I am going to be a wreck when I see my own kids on stage one day!

7

I wanted to share a picture with you all that my Hubby sent me last week! Hubby found this in our garden in the backyard. What the heck is this creature?!! I can’t believe it was back there, freaks me out a bit. I am deathly afraid of snakes and this is pretty darn close!!! Are there any Discovery Channel junkies reptile professionals out there that know what this is????

I AM DEAD tired!!! I worked 12 hours today and am running on empty, I plan on sleeping in tomorrow and doing some Yoga for Runners! I also have some great pictures of our garden that I can not wait to show you all!!

Good night lovelies, see you in the morning!!!

Ick on the creepy creatures! Those oranges + PB look yummy. I would have never thought to put them together!

I do not like snakes either! That is a weird looking creature.

I never would have thought to put oranges and pb together, however I love pb so it must be good.

I think your lizard friend might be a kind of skink. It has a stubby little tail, which makes me think that its tail was broken off recently and is in the process of regrowing. Here's a link to varieties of skinks found in California:

No worries, dear. Not a snake. :)

I love oranges with nut butters. I did sound weird to me at first too, but it definitely works! :)
Yeah, not sure what that scary thing was... it would freak me out too!

Yesterday while watering our garden, I saw 4 2-4 foot long snakes! I'm not sure what your creature is, but he's not nearly as scary as the big ones I saw.

I have only eaten at Quizno's a handful of times, but I have gotten that exact same sandwich every time.

I think it's pretty tasty for fast food and a nice change up from the usual 6 in. veggie delight from Subway.

Hope you had a wonderful day- the talent show looks adorable!

i agree with mica that you might have a skink. close enough to a snake to freak me out too!

i guess i cant knock the pb & oranges until i try them but i am a wee bit skeptical, going to have to trust you on this one :)

I have to say, when I saw the title of this post I about laughed out loud and said "TMI Bobbi!"

Garden Salsa Sun chips = addicting. I can't stop once I have the first one.

Creature?? Awww, come on....it's probably waaaaay more afraid of you than you are of it, you're like 100 TIMES the size of it!!!! Be strong!!!!

(and I have no clue what it is!)
