Monday Morning Oats+Detox Yoga

This morning I woke up refreshed and ready to tackle the week, a lot different then last week!! I have been looking forward to some Detox Yoga from Yogadownload.com, oh how I have missed pink.

My yoga practice was interrupted by a disturbing phone call from one of my oldest brothers. He called to ask me to pray about something that is going on his life. Without going in to details, I was sad to hear the news but felt blessed that he called me. We haven’t spoken since January, not for any reason he just chooses to be very private with his life and doesn't feel the need to hang out with others. It was good to hear his voice, and I am glad he called me even if it was at 6am.

Detox Yoga was just what I needed after a very active weekend. I miss my yoga practice, I need to make yoga a priority in my life again. The poses felt wonderful, lots of twists and balancing. It was so beautiful outside that I had my morning bowl of oats on the patio.

My Oats were inspired by this cinnamon streusel muffin from Panera Bread.

I am excited about this week, not too much going on during the week, but this weekend we are going to the beach to have a birthday bonfire, my niece is turning 7, and we are having a Memorial weekend BBQ!  Another fun filled weekend ahead!

I am currently listening to Bryan Loritts’ Podcast from Fellowship Memphis, I miss that church so much. Bryan married Hubby and I, he is such a powerful speaker, he knows how to bring it! I encourage you to check out his vodcasts!

Have a MOTIVATED Monday, and get out there and give it your best!!!

I think crumbled muffins or cookies or bars on top of hot oats is the icing on the cake. It really does make a world of difference and a little bit goes such a long way.

I'm sure that Panera muffin tasted incredible in your bowl, hope you enjoyed every single bite.

Have a great day girl!

Praying for your brother! So glad the detox yoga was nice and refreshing for ya. (If you need any other yogadownloads I actually have a 50% off code on my blog right now).

And I really love the look of those grilled veggies. Every time I see a blog with something grilled it makes me look forward to when I can have a grill one day!
