An Afternoon at the Park, Too Bad it Was FREEZING!

Bosco and I headed out for a 6 mile journey to the local park. The first 3 miles were pretty adventurous and all up hill. We got barked at like crazy from all the dogs in the neighborhood, and one dog even got out and starting barking like crazy at my little Boscers!! I didn’t know what to do at first, so I just yelled, “GO AWAY!!” and the dog stopped chasing us! I so wish I would have had some MACE at this point. When we got to the park we had lunch and played, I didn't get much reading done because I was SOOO COLD! Apparently the sun didn’t get the SPRING BREAK memo!

Here is the lunch I packed before we headed out:

We walked back and it just kept getting colder and colder, but thankfully we made it him ALIVE! Overall it was nice to get out and get some fresh air with no distractions, I had time to breath, pray, rest, and reflect so the afternoon was perfect(minus the cold).

Tonight I am making my first homemade pizza crust!!! I got this recipe online, and it says it’s super easy! I am crossing my fingers:)

Fun, fun, fun afternoon! Your dog could not be any cuter! You definitely need to get your hands on some jogger's pepper spray (I did a giveaway on my blog for the kind I use) for situations like this!
