Her Thursday Things To Talk About: PB2

Date Night Recap:

Last night we went to my favorite Sushi restaurant in town. I love it because you get your own little room and sit on the floor with big fluffy pillows. I had been craving sushi for some time now, so it was of course perfect! photo8

The Miso Soup and Salad( salad was a poor excuse for veggies I had a few bites).photo6

Some Jasmine Tea to sip on

I ordered a Salmon and Crab Roll!

We then went home and I had to study, only got in about an hours worth then knocked out! This is why……keep reading….

BREATH IN BREATH OUT!

I haven’t been feeling quite like myself these past few days. I have had a constant headache for about 6 days. I have thought of all the reasons for my headache(which I rarely ever have) and have narrowed it down to two things. One being the weather, we have had a lot of rain around here, and the second being stress. I see sunny skies in our future so if it is the weather it should go away, but as far as the stress thing I don’t feel stressed!! Well maybe I am more then I know. I hate taking medicine, but the hubby drugged me last night and I passed out at 9pm! All I know is when I woke up I felt like I had been sleeping for YEARS!!!!

MORNING WORKOUT/EATS

I jumped out of bed threw on my running clothes and drove straight to the gym. I had an easy 3 mile run today, and I did some abs and burpees. I was going to do Mark’s challenge, but I forgot to write it down(don’t worry Mark I will be doing it this week).

When I got home I made a new protein smoothie using some PB2!

photo1 I threw the following ingredients into the wonderful VitaMix Machine:)

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup TJ’s cheese style yogurt
  • 1/2 banana
  • 2 tbs of PB2
  • 1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup of oats
  • 1 cup of ice
  • photo2

I topped it off with some Zoe Cranberry Currant Granola, mmmm….I think I need to add a little more sweetness of some kind next time. Was a little to bland for me. photo3 I normally don’t do a lot of smoothies for breakfast ,because they don’t seem to fill me up, but this one is packed with protein so I am hoping it will at least hold me over until my next snack.

LET’S TALK ABOUT PB2

Gina from Bell Plantation, so graciously sent me some PB2 a couple of weeks ago and I am loving it! Thanks Gina. I heard about it from other blogs, but had yet to try it. If you are wondering what is different about PB2, let me explain a little. It’s a peanut butter that comes in a powder form, which makes it easy to cook with and add to smoothies!

So that product advertises only three ingredients...but it has a trace of trans fat? That's scary.
