His Vs Her’s

Alright folks we had a killer workout, and when we got home my hands were shaking so bad that it was even hard to cook DINNER!!!! It was a lot of fun though. Hubby and I switched off on the focus mitts and he came so close to punching me in the face on accident, check out this site if you don’t know what focus mitts are.

Alright readers I need your input here. Because hubby and I have such different eating habits I thought I would do a little survey and see if I am not the only one who makes two meals every night:)  Which meal would you choose and which one would your other half choose?

MEAL #1: Baked Tofu, Balsamic Veggies, Baked Sweet Potato, and a little mashed potatoes.

Oh my gosh! That's almost exactly what I had to do last night for the boyfriend! I made some amazing salmon and veggies and he HAD to have a side of mac'n'cheese!!! Ugh!

That's a toughie... haha
Honestly though, if I were making mac and cheese for someone else I would definitely have to put a couple tastes onto my plate too. I can't resist its neon orange beauty!

Hi Bobbi! Well, Mark and I have been only living in the same apartment for a week, but we've been eating together for almost a decade! I would not have to make two meals because he would eat the tofu, which is what I would pick. He wants to eat good healthy food, but doesn't have the patience to cook, which is when his nasty lean pockets come into play.

It is very nice of you to make two meals though!

I would choose the mac n cheese, so I'm guessing that was yours.

I would choose the plate with the baked tofu... (I'm gonna guess that's yours, too?)

We had His vs. Hers at our house tonight too.

We almost always do when I break out the tofu.

I'd say the "Hers" won in both instances!

LOL! That is so funny! I'd pick plate number one. It looks amazing! Rob and I eat really different stuff too. His family is Puerto Rican and Polish and they have no limits on the yummy lard-filled stuff. :) I'm Irish so we're used to not eating much (I kid, I kid).

Looks pretty familiar :)

I've been a vegetarian for nearly two decades, and Brent is often happy to eat what I make (and will sometimes even make good veggie stuff himself!), but I think he's happiest with Annie's mac and cheese or a big plate of pasta.

Matt and I have different tastes and when you toss in Morgan, I usally make compromised meals to satisfy everyone. Actually, Morgan eats more like me, lots of veggies. But, making three different meals is just too much!

Since I eat sweet potatoes 3-4 times per week (I looove them), I'd for meal #1, of course!! :-D

With focus mitts, one thing I've found is to meet the person who is punching. So instead of me just holding the mitt waiting for the punch, I'll bring it forward and meet them about 1/2 way. It gives a little resistance for them and helps keep my arm from flying all over the place. Of course when someone is really laying it on my arm still goes flying! LOL

Luckily Scott isn't picky and will eat whatever. It might not be his first choice, but he'll eat it. LOL That's awesome of you to make two meals! Lucky hubs!

Hmm they both look pretty dang fantastic to me. I made some meatloaf with veggies yesterday...but I am really craving a big plateful of them so I need to figure that out!

Too funny! That's exactly how my husband eats! I make the same protein/fish for us, but the veggies and sides are different.
