Marathon Saturday
Well HELLO friends! It has been a heck of a long day starting all the way from 4:30am where I went on a 13 mile run with some running buddies. It was a beautiful run and my legs feel ready for my marathon :)
After the run, I took a quick shower and headed downtown to run some errands. First I swung by Sbux to have my new traditional Soy Peppermint Mocha and an egg sammie!
Then off to Target I went to pick up a few things and while I was there I found sooo many cute dresses for a steal! I was looking for a dress for the wedding we were going to as well as a Christmas dress.
Loved this one…
and this one!
and this one!
and this one!!
Guess which one I went with????
This ONE! But I wanted all of them!
After running a crazy amount of errands before we head out to our retreat we headed over to one of my dearest High school friend Melissa’s Wedding.
She looked absolutely stunning!
Loved the brides maids dresses too.
Love this shot!
Only in CA can you have a November wedding outside :)
The flowers were so vibrant!
Two buck Chuck.
Look who joined us?! THE BFF MRS. D.
High school buds!
My Hottie Hubby!
Dinner time…
I grabbed a little of everything off the buffet. Shoot I ran 13 miles and have a race in the morning!!!
What we all waited for, the cake!
They had cupcakes, how cute!
D and I were going to split it..
but I don’t like cupcakes, so it was all hers!
The three of us (D’s Hubby had to work).
We left a little early because I was spent and we still had some decorating to do because we never got it done last night. When we got home we finished our tree!!! I know it’s early and Thanksgiving hasn’t even come yet but Hubby and I will be out of town until December 2nd and I wanted it to be all ready for when we got back…I know I am a little proactive :).
Christmas Tree Before
Time to decorate
Hubby and Bosco dance to the Christmas Tunes on Satellite…too cute!
Bosco loves helping.
Topped off with a bow.
Hubby and I have a tradition where we make each other an ornament every year at Christmas to put on the tree. Here are some of my favorites..
FINISHED!
More decorations.
Alright folks, as you can see it’s been a LONG DAY! I need to get in to bed because I have a 10k race in the morning! I will have a full race recap in the morning!
Hopping to BED!

I'm not sure if I've ever commented but I've been reading for awhile. Your ability to balance your health/fitness and having a good time is really inspiring. Thanks for all your hard work!

I know this is an old post, but I'm behind. I'm usually just a lurker, but I can't help but comment this time. All those dresses look amazing on you! And I love the idea of the homemade ornaments every year. I just want you to know that even though I don't always comment, I find your blog very inspiring and I want to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to do it.
