Produce Produce Produce
This morning’s Hot Yoga class was just what I needed. Every time I go, I learn something new and truly get the BEST stress relief wish I could go everyday! My Bff Danielle and blogging buddy Angie were there too!
After class I headed over to Washington Produce where I picked up all my produce for the week. I love it there because all I have to do is go online pick out everything I want and when I show up they just load it, into my car!!! Talk about a time saver :)
- Cucumber
- Kale
- Bananas
- Apples
- Oranges
- Avocados
- Garlic
- Zucchini
- Veggie Soup Medley Pack
- Mushrooms
- strawberries
- butternut squash
- corn
- cilantro
- tofu
- + some weird looking round veggie thingy that I don’t remember ordering..lol anyone know what it is?? It’s right next to the apples and avocados?
Plus this lovely bowl of fruit that I dug right into after class, because I had to still got to Costco.
I went to Costco to pick up some pillows I have been eyeing, and walked away with all this :). One pair of CK Jeans for him and David Bitton Jeans for me (only $22 each!). I also got Hubby a Timberland Fleece, he needs it for the mountains!
I haven’t really eaten a full meal all day, been snacking through fruit, veggies, and Home Made Power Bars..but I feel great! I am already making up a plan for tonight’s dinner :) NOW TIME TO GET TO WORK on that TASK LIST!!!!
How much do you think all this produce and tofu cost me? I am curious to see what you guys think.

It looks like it might be a jicama. That's my guess anyways!
My guess is a large sweet potato.
that is DEFINITELY a jicama. :)
it's what my mom always gets, and it sits on the bottom of our produce drawer. :) it is quite crunchy and yummy though.
i'm gonna guess somewhere between 30 and 40 bucks for all the loot. everything looks good!
Definitely jicama. It'll kind of taste like a starchy/ not too sweet crisp apple (I think they're also known as Mexican apples).
I'm guessing around 25 bucks
Looks like a good assortment of produce. Did it cost around$28????
I would guess it cost around 20-25 bucks?
I'm guessing around 40 bucks? It's hard to tell because I can't remember a lot of the prices from back in the U.S. for items I didn't buy often.
hmm $20?? that would be a great deal for all the amazing produce
Jicama- delicious shredded with a coleslaw; cut into sticks for snacking; strips go well on a salad. Cut chunks off and peel the fibrous outer layer. Keep the remainder wrapped tight in plastic.
One cup is around 50 calories, 12 g carbs, lots of Vit. C and no fat. It's also a good source of potassium and fiber. Enjoy it!!
it is JICAMA!!!
Yup, jicama -- I'm late to the party, but it's one of my favorite snacks! Starchy, sort of sweet and perfect raw or in salads. Enjoy!
My mom makes an awesome salsa with Jicama.
I think I need to check out Washington Produce...
It's Jicama...lol...a little late. I grew up eating it with a mix of watermelon, mango, or cucumbers with lemon/lime, salt, and some chili powder...yummy!!
