Rising Up
This morning my alarm went of at 5:15am, and “Eye of the Tiger” was PLAYING! It was a true motivator for me to get my butt to the gym and pump some iron. I did day 2 of “Making the Cut” and my sit ups and pushups.
This morning I couldn’t wait for breakfast, I am in love with Muesli.
Last night I soaked:
- 1/2 cup Oats
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup soy milk
- vanilla extract
- honey
- cinnamon
- PB2
- 1 tablespoon Ground Flax
This morning I added in:
- 1/2 cup light cottage cheese
- Crushed Pecans
- Fresh Grapes
- Blueberries
- Bobbi’s Granola Greatness
All mixed UP!
Sad I ran out of bananas this weekend, but because I am really watching our budget and bananas are the ONLY thing we need at the Market I don’t think it’s worth the trip.
I am glad that you all loved the Vlog last night, it was totally informal and spur of the moment. I promise we will do some more fun ones! I guess wearing the same PJ’s all week isn’t so bad, and I like the ideas readers gave about just sleeping in my Birthday Suit;).
Time to get to work…

I wear the same pjs all week! I dunno why that would be gross, I'm clean. :D Actually when I clean the house (scrub the bathrooms and kitchen) once a week is also the same day I change out all our towels and our pjs and sheets! It's easier to remember to do it all on the same day. At least for me. :D
i wear my pjs for the whole week too. i definitely don't find it gross at all plus it saves on laundry.
amusing that eye of the tiger was on when you got up. not sure if that would motivate me or just annoy me at 5 in the morning :)

Your muesli sounds good, I love adding coconut to mine.
Lol I don't actually wear "pjs" haha. I just wear boxers and that's it. Usually the ones I wore that day. Less laundry for me :)
I don't think it is gross at all. I think I change my pajamas about 2 to 3 times a week though. :)
Eye of the tiger is a great motivator! That breakfast looks new and refreshing, I'm sick of my same old cereal and oatmeal!

I have to tell you, we started unplugging everything not be used and saved $25 a month on our electric bill. That might seem like a lot, but I have 3 teens. All have tvs, stereos ect in their rooms. We put everything on a power supply strip so all they had to do when leaving there room is turn it off. Huge huge savings!
