Morning Workout+Pound+Scrapbooking

I finally had a morning workout this week! Let me first back up to yesterday, too many fun things that I just have to show you.

For lunch yesterday I took a boring bowl of Annie’s canned Veggie Chili and spiced it up a bit. I added one small avocado, cherry tomatoes, and a 1/4 cup of Fage. I need to make a big batch of chili soon.

1

I also enjoyed some of my Funky Monkey snacks, Purple Funk it had dried bananas with acai berries. It was ok, still not a big fan of the texture.

2

After work Hubby and I visited the pound to see if we could find Bosco a friend. Lately I have been feeling sad for Bosco staying home all day by himself.

I have a love hate relationship with the pound. I love going to see all the animals, but then I hate that I can’t take them ALL home. I just want to give them all a bath and love on them. We didn’t find a small dog that we thought would be best for Bosco so we headed over to Petco and got Bosco a new chew toy :).

He loves his new toy!

Because we were so close and I couldn’t resist Hubby and I had Baja Fresh for dinner! I ordered to grilled Mahi Mahi Tacos with black beans and rice. I left the rice, but devoured the rest!

After dinner I headed over to my BFF Ginger’s to enjoy our new Wednesday night scrapbooking fun! I used to scrapbook in high school a lot but, I haven’t done any scrapbooking in years. I am excited to finish my scrap book of Hubby and My story as well as my Marathon Adventures!

5

Ging brought this AMAZING POPCORN that I couldn’t stop eating!

I didn’t get home until late so no blogging because I was determined to rise early! I woke up at 5:15am to meet up with my x-country team and run some hill repeats. We started with a one mile warm up and then tackled a pretty long and steep hill four times. The first one took them about 40 seconds, and then the shredded 10 seconds off their time by the time they got to the last one! It was killer. We finished with a one mile cool down and then did sit-ups and push-ups. Their was a fire in town last night, so the air was really bad!!! I am glad we all felt ok, I think I am the only one that was feeling it.

When I got home this morning I whipped up a simple yet delicious B-fast.

I'm a night person, but can really go either way!
I love running at night though in the quiet!

If forced to pick either of these, I'd have to go with morning. But really, I'm more of a "10-2", middle of the day kind of girl.

And BTW, I'll be in Bishop next weekend. If I get a chance I'll bring back a loaf of sheepherder bread for you - I live just down the 10 freeway from you in Rancho Cucamonga.

I am totally a night person. I always think about all the things I could accomplish if I could just get my butt out of bed early but it's so hard for me to do that. However, on the rare occasions that I actually do get up early I feel so good that I did it and was able to accomplish stuff. I would love to be able to run early in the mornings...

Oh yay! I am glad your getting Bosco a friend!!! Fun! My pup loves new toys, nothing makes him more happy.

I am both, it depends, I think I go through phases where I am a morning person and then phases where I am a night person.

I'm so happy it's becoming chili season again. I made some at the beginning of the Summer and people thought I was crazy for eating it in 90 degree weather

Those waffles look really good.

I feel the same way you do about the pound. I always leave there feeling so sad for all of the dogs.

Archer Farms has really good baked chips. My favorite are the garlic and rosemary flavor.

I have always been a night person. I hate getting up in the morning!

I love the idea of scrapbooking night with friends. I never got around to actually doing it anymore but I like to!

I am definitely a morning person! I get so much more accomplished early in the day and by the evening I just want to relax with my fiance and go to bed early! So exciting that ya'll are thinking about getting Bosco a friend! I have gone back and forth trying to decide if Sadie needs a friend too! I'm still undecided!

I still think you just can't beat a good workout before you start the day. It totally sets the tone for the day! If I have a great workout, my day usually follows as being just as good!

I am most definitely a morning person. Not super early, I usually wake up at 6:45am. I enjoy time to myself in the morning with a cup of coffee.
My friends always tease me that I am like a grandma, as I am often ready for bed at 10:30.
Each to their own!

I think having a two dogs is the best thing ever! They snuggle up and sleep together all day, and they play a little bit every now and then. I have two little Dachshunds and they are a good time. There's nothing like seeing them play tug of war with a toy! I hope you find a buddy for Bosco soon. He'll love it.

That is some of the best popcorn. I had a bag yesterday.. Well for a few minutes because it didn't last long. My son and I took care of that bag in like 15 minutes.
