Going To the Chapel..

GOOD MORNING!!!! What a weekend. The wedding in San Diego yesterday was absolutely beautiful. It was a garden wedding and the heat was making us a little cookoo…

Before we knew it, the girls were coming out. The flower girls were so cute.

The ceremony was so nice, and the Brides Father did a great job at officiating.

After the ceremony we headed over to the reception, but first hit up the Outlet Mall.

Oh and my dress, that I love, I got at Old Navy. I noticed that Meghann got it a recently too, great minds think a like :).

The couple are both Dutch so there wedding banquet was perfect!

Once inside of course us girls went in the ladies room to re-apply :).

We picked up our place cards, all beautifully laid out.

There was even a table with cards to write wishes on for the Bride and Groom.

They both looked sooooo happy! I know they will live Happily Ever After!

When I got home last night I started feeling completely overwhelmed with all that I have going on this week. I nearly had a break down. Hubby told me that I needed to take Monday off as a “Mental Sick” day. I fought it, I hate calling in to work, but I knew it was the healthiest thing for me otherwise I was going to be way to STRESSED OUT this week. So today I am taking a “Mental Sick” day and preparing myself for a busy week.

This morning, I started with the best bowl of FALL OATS!

Picture 271

I made a bowl of oats and topped it with warm apple slices, cinnamon, and blueberries. With a scoop of Apple Butter!

Picture 269

I have my coffee in hand and I am going to get myself together so I can make use of this day.

Question: Have you ever needed to take a “Mental Sick” day?

Yes!!! And you will feel so much better for it! If I'm not organized I have a meltdown too. Just relax, make your lists and start checking things off! :)

I call them "Mental Health Days" My mom actually used to let my brother and I take a mental health day from school once a year. We were super healthy kids and never got sick so this was like our sick day :)

I call them mental health days but yes! I think they are just as important as physically sick days. Glad you took one for yourself :)

The wedding looked like a ton of fun. I love weddings.
Those measuring spoon favors are so cute. My cuz gave them away at her wedding too. Each spoon has a cute little saying on them.

Mental Health days are just as important as physical health days. Better you take it now, rather than have a melt down later.

Love the wedding photos! Looks like you had a blast!

I have to admit that I have taken a mental sick day before (from class, work, stuff) just because I felt like the world was caving in on me and I couldn't stop crying. Sometimes, a girl just needs a day to breathe :) Hope you feel less overwhelmed soon!

And now your work knows you are taking a mental sick day! tsk tsk! haha

Is Ginger a Mulder? Or was she? She looks familiar & I can't figure out why! haha

the wedding looks wonderful and so fun.

i've had moments where i definitely should have taken a mental health day but i rarely do. i just feel stressed out about the classes and learning i'm missing. counterproductive to a mental health day. :)

You absolutely need and deserve a day of rest. You do so much, and you're always going - your body and mind need that rest!

I've skipped class a few times for that rason. Sometimes we just "need a day off".

Hope you get out of the funk!

The wedding looks beautiful!

I've taken mental health days and I always feel so much better afterwards. Sometimes you just need to take care of yourself.

What a gorgeous wedding, everything looks wonderful! :)

LOVE that dress you have on (I loved it when I saw Meghann's - I wonder if old navy still has it!) :)

OMG those flower girl dresses are ADORABLE. They look almost like a real wedding dress! I love the skirt on the dresses! And when I saw that dress on Meghann's site, I made a mental note to head to Old Navy but forgot! Thanks for the reminder!! I really really like it :-)

Way to go on taking a "sick" day. I've had to do it before and always felt so much better for taking care of myself.

Bobbi my dear, you look stunning! I love that dress and your wear it so well.

What a great wedding! You all look like you had such a wonderful time.

I feel like I need these mental health days at least once a week. If I don't feel entirely organzied and on top of things, my world is all out of wack.

Hope you get adjusted and back to your regular routine.

Have a great week girl!

It looks like a great wedding! I keep saying I'm going to take a Mental Health Day, but I keep finding excuses from doing it. I am such a wimp.

The cake at the wedding was beautiful!
I have probably needed a Mental Health Day, but have never taken one. I am a stickler for good attendance at work.
