Bobbi’s Birthday Giveaway

That’s right folks, in honor of my Birthday I am holding another fun GIVEAWAY!!! I can’t believe I am turning another year older, where oh where did the year go?!!

So what is it she is giving away, you all guessed it! A running skirt from Danskin. The lovely Nicole sent me this cute black Women's X-Training Aerosilver Black Spandex Skort to review, check out the jacket, and tank top I have reviewed as well.

This picture is right after a 5 mile run and I have to say the skirt was super comfortable. I am always worried about the compression shorts underneath riding up, but they didn’t move. I love that the skirt is a light weight material and doesn't way me down one bit. I also like the cute slit in the front, how sexy is that? They only thing is that it runs a little big for a small, its more like a medium.

  • 50% aerosilver polyester, 34% polyester, 16% Creora spandex
  • Antimicrobial

  • Color mesh waistband with inner drawcord (note: black mesh on all-black option)
  • Color coordinated inner short with stash pocket
  • Length from natural waist 16 inches
  • Imported

Well Danskin sent me another one to giveaway here on my site:) It’s a small so if it doesn't fit you I am sure it would be a great gift!!!

Happy Birthday and congrats on Boston. I have two running skirts but on both of them the shorts move and cause chafing. So I'm still looking for one that works.

I love skirts for when I'm going out running errands after my run and won't be able to change first!

(And because they run large and I get to wear a size small.)

i'm not usually a small, but maybe... :)

can't wait for your recap!!!

Happy Birthday Bobbi!
I do love running skirts :) And I find that when I wear them to the gym to lift weights (after a run) the compression shorts do a better job not riding up than my regular shorts do.

I've had a lot fun reading your blog these past few weeks. Great job at Boston!

I've never triedva running skirt but I almost think it would probably be more comfortable than shorts. I was tempted to buy one yesterday at target, but didn't since shin splints have me sidelined for at a couple more weeks.

Happy birthday! Can't wait for the marathon recap... you're amazing!
I don't really like my legs so I never wear shorts (or short skirts of course) but I'm trying to work on that. I think that running skirt is sexy and if it's comfortable too, then it sounds like a winner! :)
I'll link back to your post on my next blog entry :D

I recently bought an Adidas running skirt and it has been great. The skirt is really light and doesn't ride up at all. I think I like skirts better than shorts since they don't bunch up and they are cooler!! I'll probably wear mine in the Broad St. run in Philadelphia next Sunday :)

Regarding the running skirt, I've always wanted to try one. I have never ran in a skirt but I am seeing so much talk about it that I may have to give it a try.

Have never tried a running skirt before. Always thought I would be uncomfortable. But might be willing to try it or share it with someone if it doesn't fit. Cause I don't even remember the last time I fit in to a small. :-)

I do not have a running skirt but I have been a long distance runner for almost a decade now and I do look longly at them whenever I am in the running store. I just haven't had the confidence to make the leap to buy.

I thought I posted for this contest, but I guess not...

I love the idea of running skirts, but I don't normally wear them.

Bobbi,

I'm a recent follower of your blog and I love looking at your healthy meal ideas. I've never used a running skirt, but it would be cute I think!
