Z PIZZA:Who knew a pizza joint could be so healthy?!
Ever since, I saw the name ZPIZZA, I knew this was going be something amazing. All over the windows I saw words like low fat, gluten free, organic, and whole wheat! Hello, was it speaking my language or what?! Why did it take me so long to get here!
My Kids Church group met tonight at the brand new ZPIZZA here in our home town. The menu had so many choices, I didn’t even know where to start. I knew I wanted whole wheat crust, either no cheese or soy cheese, and lot’s of veggies. I really wanted to try the Curry Chicken and Yam pizza, but I didn't think anyone would want to split it with me:)
So I went with the Berkeley Soy Cheese Veggie: pesto, soy cheese, veggie burger crumbles, zucchini tomato, mushrooms, red onions, and bell pepper.
mmm… I loved the Soy Cheese, I was a little leery at first, but it was so great that I ended up eating the whole PIZZA! Also the crust was by far the best ww crust I HAVE ever had (that is 6 small slices). Well at least I know I will be fueled for tomorrows 19 mile run! This pizza has some great nutritional values as well(if you don't eat the whole thing).

I also split this Pear and Gorgonzola Salad with Melissa, it was divine. Why can’t I cut my pears that thin!
If not all of that was enough I stole a piece of this Rustic Pear and Gorgonzola Pizza someone ordered. Who knew PEARS on a pizza would taste so good?!
Has anyone else ever been to zpizza or something like it?!
Ok friends, it is 9:41pm and I have a 3:20am wake up call!!! The great thing is that I should be done by 8am and can go grocery shopping, and clean the whole house tomorrow with day time left to spend! I hope to get some baking done tomorrow too, going to try and work on something for Meghann’s next Fundraising Bake Sale.
