Homemade Spelt Tortilla Wraps!

WOW I got so much more accomplished then I thought I would this morning! Thanks for all the sweet comments about my transformation! I can hardly believe how different I like too!  cleaned the kitchen and my office(room still needs some work), ordered my new shoes and I prepped for meals for the week!

I made, black bean burgers, homemade hummus,ww rice, wheat berries, and homemade spelt tortillas!

Hubby’s going on a strict diet this week so I am getting everything prepared, I ll talk about this more tomorrow.

I have been dying to make Spelt Tortilla Wraps ever sense I saw them on Angela’s Blog.  I was having some trouble keeping the dugh from sticking to the cutting board and rolling pin, but after the second one I got the hang of it!

29

I followed Angela’s recipe except I added 2 tbsp of Flax Seed.

Ingredients:

- 2 cups Spelt Flour (can also use whole wheat or white flour)

- 1/2 teaspoon half salt

- 1/2 tsp. baking soda

- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil

- 3/4 cup hot water

I had to try them right away! So I put a wrap together with some PB and banana. WOW was it good or what! I think all the work it took, was way worth it.

I then made a Green Monster to hold me over until dinner, we are going out tonight so I wanted something light. Look at my lovely green STASH!

The Mix: 1 cup of Hemp milk, 1/2 banana,1 tbsp of natural PB, 1 cup of frozen cherries, 1 tbsp of flax seed, 1 Kale Leaf, and a handful of spinach!

Alright folks I am off to clean up this kitchen and head out to a Hockey game with friends! Are you ready for Monday?! I would like one more day this weekend!!!!

Thanks for sharing the tortilla recipe. We have been making lots of our own food lately, I think it is so much better and healthier. I'll have to try these next weekend.
