Thank God it's Tuesday!
Made it through Monday! It was a great start of the week lot's accomplished. I got a lot done at work, and even got some me time on my break. Was able to swing by the store and pick up a few Fall decor items even though it doesn't quite feel like fall here, I am still excited. This weekend I hope to take out the Fall box and get out some of last years decorations.
Yesterday I was able to sneak in a coffee date(well it was tea for me) with a good friend. We had one full hour to catch up on life, with us two an hour is like 5 minutes, but none the less it was still nice. It was quite interesting because when I got home that night and started reading OMTL, and it talks about having those dates with friends. It is really focusing on relationships, how to mend them, how to keep them, and how to grow them. In the area of relationships I don't have too many I feel like I need to mend, but there are many I would like to grow. Life is so much more fun with people in it!
I also got to teach Kickboxing and after boot camp and the race this weekend, I was pretty sore but I made it through!
This morning I woke up kinda early 6am (not as early as I usually get up for a run). I had my coffee and ran out the door with Bosco for a 3 miles easy. Well he made it about 5 minutes and then I dropped him back off at home and finished by myself, lol. He is a fun and energetic dog but it's much more difficult with the leash and all. The rest of my run was nice, and the brisk air really helped. For the first time in a while I was really looking around at the scenery and taking it all in, enjoying the run. Haven't had that kind of a run in a while. When your training your runs are very focused, which is great because your running with a purpose and you get in better shape that way. Running just to run is nice though.
When I got home I was starved, I was hungry when I woke up seeing that my dinner consisted of a bowl of cereal and a frozen PB cookie. So I decided to make me some oatmeal and added a few new ingredients. Here is what I came up with.
