LARABAR?

Ok so what is so great about the LARABAR?! Everyone is talking about it. I checked it out at Trader Joe's and it seems a little pricey for how small it is, hmmm....their about two fifty a pop but online there a little cheaper. It looks like they have a lot of healthy and natural ingredients which is great.

I bet they would be something wonderful to have on hand when I have those sugar cravings or just need a little something extra after lunch (which happens often).

I think I am going to have to run to the store and pick some up and try it for myself!

There are a lot of flavors which I like! For all of you out there who have tried them whats your take on them, and any favorite type?

I haven't had them - and they do sound pricey!! Make your own, Rachel? That sounds pretty sweet!

Thanks for visiting my blog!

I've gotten them for around $1.69 at TJ's and just got one for $1.29 at Whole Foods this past weekend. I really like them, mainly because of the ingredient list. There's NOTHING unnatural in there - I think the cinnamon roll has just dates, pecans, cinnamon and nutmeg, or something crazy like that. I prefer to have those vs. one of the other bars. The thing that really gets me though is the calorie count - around 200 cals and 9g fat in each little bar!

I don't love larabars like most bloggers do. They are small for the calories and I don't love the texture. That said, I've had some flavors I didn't care for, but some I liked (cashew cookie) and you can't beat the simple ingredient list, so that's a plus. They are filling, too. I am going to take Rachel's suggestion and try to make my own soon!
