Her Thursday Things to Talk About

Morning peeps! Great news NO NIGHT TERRORS! Thanks for all the kind words, I think they all helped:) Last night hubby and I had our first date night of the year, and in the spirit of saving money we made a candlelight dinner at home and watched the recorded Biggest Loser. We made Whole Wheat Pasta, with  a Turkey Sausage Marinara.

THURSDAY THINGS TO TALK ABOUT

I was so graciously given a chance to review a Power Pouch Sports Bra from Gracie's Gear, thank your Gracie. Here is a little about who Gracie:is:

“ For the past eight years, Gracie has put her experience as an avid runner and trained exercise physiologist to work developing realistic training programs and inventive products that encourage women of all ages and sizes to become active and stay active. Eager to share her innovations and enthusiasm for running with a larger audience, Gracie launched gracie’s gear in 2006. gracie’s gear’s exercise products and services include the POWER POUCH™ sports bra and Gracie's training programs for individuals of all fitness levels.”

It’s not just any sports bra, it has a large pocket in the front to hold a gel, an IPOD, your phone, or even your money!!!! There is a long bra top and a short bra top both have pockets in them called the Power Pouch. The Power Pouch has three compartments within the one pocket that sits outside the actual bra for all of your workout necessities. After last weeks fiasco in losing sixty dollars on a run, I am stoked about wearing this. I wore it to a kickboxing class and it was comfortable,  supportive, and cute. I will wear it on a run this week for sure! I really like there long top as well and hope to try one of those soon too!

I also have a new Nike Arm Band that is perfect for carrying things in as well, it fits an Iphone perfectly!!!!

What do you use to hold all your stuff on a run????

Alright folks I have a long day ahead of me,work, AKB(maybe just the gym) and then our Thursday Community Group.  We are starting a new series a book hubby and I did in our Pre-Marital counseling, Love and Respect. I hope you all are finishing this first week of the year off right, is it time to do a refresher of your goals already?

I am totally hooked on the Biggest Loser - Dan does not understand my obsession. I record and watch it while I work out over a few days (since the eps are two hours!) - so inspiring. I pretend that Jillian is yelling at ME!

oooooooooh i love all the pockets-zippers-pouches etc!!!!!!!!!!!! i am crazy about things like this. my new reflective top has a small zippered pouch just off the shoulder which i put my car key in if i drive to run. otherwise a couple of my shorts and pants have a key pouch,... but i would need some sort of zipper pocket like yours if i was going to carry money or a cell phone!!!

I need to get that Nike Armband. I got an ipod touch for christmas and definitely need to find something that it will fit in.
This is also the first time I'm watching TBL, before this I've only caught an episode here and there, what an inspiration those people are.

I've got an armband and hydration belt, but the belt is Nike and has little pouches for the iPod, so I just use the band for weights.

You will love The Biggest Loser! The transformations by the end of the season are unbelievable!

Looks like a fabulous dinner! And the pouch is ingenious!

I use a shoe pouch for my keys or the pockets of my jacket, if I happen to be wearing it...

I LOVE the idea of a home date night. That is the cutest!

Wow, what a great sports bra!! I usually have pockets in my zip up sweaters (I live in the UK and often have to wear long sleeves running) so thats where I keep my goods! I always have with me: my ipod, house keys, mobile phone.

I have a shoe pouch for keys and stuff. Right now it's cold so my jacket has pockets (both inside and out!). Date night looks awesome!

That sports bra is cute! I wonder if it would hold my gigantic boobs! LOL.

Well, when I run outside in the winter, I have plenty of garb to carry my stuff in. But, in those few months that I actually get to wear shorts and a tank top, I just put a couple bucks in my shorts pocket. Luckily I don't have to carry keys because my garage door has a code to open it.

Lately, I have been tucking my house key into the fold of my hat. I don't know what I will do when it warms up again though.

J wont watch the Biggest Loser. I have only seen a few episodes, but watched last night.

What was up with everyone sweating so bad during the weigh-in (including the host)?
